As the year comes to a close, I’m sad to see it go.  My biggest moment was welcoming into the world my second boy and can’t feel more blessed about having him in my life. Watching the interaction between both of my boys makes me such a proud Dad.

I also was able to capture a ton of great images for both me personally with my boys but also for a lot of other people.  I look forward to next year and to continue to learn and challenge myself every time I go and take pictures.

I had a great time at Ballast Point Pier even though the weather was less than ideal.  Overcast skies make for some not so pleasant color tones but the kids I shot more than made up for it.  I look forward to taking more pictures for this family because they have an awesome story!

I had a very quick photo session with some long time clients today before their Thanksgiving festivities. The weather was absolutely perfect and the sky was amazing. With the help of some fill flash we managed to knock down most of the shadows and create some amazing depth to the pictures. I would have loved to stay a little longer but the kids were restless and everyone was looking forward to some great meals together as a family. I’m so happy to keep being asked to capture images of this family that are displayed everywhere at their house.

Merry Christmas from the Dean's

I had a great idea that I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to pull off. I’m so glad I stuck with my idea and got it to work. The result (in my humble opinion) is one of the most unique and creative Christmas pictures of any children out there. It’s a composite of three images and both of the boys made it out of this session with no injuries.

With that said, I hope everyone has a great Christmas and a safe and happy new year’s! I’m starting to work on a new year’s shot that should be on par with this one

I had the pleasure of capturing Meredith and Kyle’s special day. With Kyle’s upcoming deployment over seas, I wanted to get some of the teaser shots up as soon I could. They were such a fun and energetic couple who had some amazing family and friend’s at their wedding. The dance floor was packed nearly the whole night!

I’ve been following Jason Lee for awhile and his amazing pictures of his girls and wanted to “try” and do something similar with my boys. I’ve been trying to figure out some ideas that I can put into motion with a 3 month old. While there are somethings that I would want to change, this captures my boys perfectly. Austin (the oldest) is a pretty good actor and Colton…well he’s your normal 3 month old

With that, let the magic begin!

My wife and I welcomed into the world our newest little man Colton a month ago today. Needless to say it’s been pretty hectic with work, juggling spending time with both boys, helping my wife as much as possible, and trying to mix in some photographs here and there.

Austin has been a trooper with his little brother and is one heck of a ham when it comes to taking pictures with Colton. With any luck I’ll get some extra time soon to share more photo’s.

I was happy to be asked to photograph the little sister to a boy I’ve taken photo’s of since he was a little guy. Baby G was just under 5lbs when she was born and was amazing to photograph. She slept like a little angle while we posed her for some great photographs.
